Packaging distributor RAJAPACK UK has rebranded as RAJA UK, aligning its UK operation with the RAJA Group’s European brand. The Bedfordshire-based supplier, which says it serves more than 43,000 UK businesses, has traded in the UK since 1998.

RAJA Group was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher; their first names formed the company name. The group operates in 19 European countries, and the UK name change is intended to give customers one recognisable brand across those markets.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the change does not alter the staff, product range or next-day service customers rely on. He added that the company has introduced a free planning tool ahead of the peak trading period.

Peak-cost estimator

The Prepare for Peak tool is designed to help businesses estimate what their busiest weeks will cost their packing operation and where they could save, ahead of Black Friday on 27 November.

Users select their industry to see typical order increases at peak, based on benchmarks that combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, including parcels per day and people packing. RAJA UK describes the result as an illustrative estimate rather than a quote.
